This sample programme is here to inspire you. We can adapt the stages, overnight stays and visits to your group. Optional activities are quoted separately and fitted into the agreed programme.

1. DAY01

   Arrival in Amsterdam

   Transfer from the airport to your hotel in Amsterdam.

2. DAY02

   Amsterdam with a local guide

   Explore Amsterdam with a local guide. We agree the route and length of the visit around your group’s interests.

3. DAY03

   From the canals to the Rhine

   Amsterdam → 265 km → Cologne → 190 km → Frankfurt am Main

   Travel to Cologne and continue to Frankfurt am Main.

4. DAY04

   Cochem and the Rhine villages

   Frankfurt → 170 km → Cochem → 60 km → Bacharach → 25 km → Rüdesheim am Rhein → 65 km → Frankfurt

   A day visiting Cochem, Bacharach and Rüdesheim am Rhein, returning to Frankfurt am Main.

5. DAY05

   Baden-Baden and Strasbourg

   Frankfurt → 175 km → Baden-Baden → 60 km → Strasbourg

   Travel via Baden-Baden before continuing to Strasbourg, in Alsace.

   Overnight in the Strasbourg area.

6. DAY06

   Colmar and the Black Forest

   Strasbourg → 80 km → Colmar → 105 km → Triberg → 60 km → Freiburg im Breisgau

   Travel through Colmar and Triberg before arriving in Freiburg im Breisgau.

   Overnight in the Freiburg im Breisgau area.

7. DAY07

   The Rhine Falls and Zurich

   Freiburg → 60 km → Mulhouse → 160 km → Rhine Falls → 55 km → Zurich

   Travel via Mulhouse and the Rhine Falls, ending the day in Zurich.

8. DAY08

   Lucerne, Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen

   Zurich → 55 km → Lucerne → 70 km → Interlaken → 15 km → Lauterbrunnen → 70 km → Bern

   A journey through lakes and Alpine valleys, from Lucerne to Lauterbrunnen, before continuing to Bern.

   OPTIONAL ACTIVITY

   Mount Titlis. If you would like to add this excursion, we will adapt the day’s visits and timings in your proposal.

9. DAY09

   Gruyères and Lake Geneva

   Bern → Gruyères → Montreux or Chillon Castle → Yvoire → Geneva

   Travel to Gruyères, then continue to either Montreux or Chillon Castle, depending on your chosen option. Visit Yvoire on the way to Geneva.

10. DAY10

    Annecy, Chamonix and Mont Blanc

    Geneva → 40 km → Annecy → 100 km → Chamonix-Mont-Blanc → 70 km → Aosta Valley

    Travel through Annecy and Chamonix, with a cog railway excursion in the Mont Blanc area. The railway route will be specified in your proposal. Continue to the Aosta Valley.

11. DAY11

    Como or Lugano, on the way to Milan

    Aosta Valley → 200 km → Como or Lugano → 50 km → Milan

    Travel to either Como or Lugano, depending on your chosen option, before continuing to Milan. Distances will be adjusted to the selected route.

12. DAY12

    Departure from Milan

    The tour ends in Milan. We arrange the final services around your group’s schedule and needs.

Distances are approximate and will be reviewed when the route, accommodation and selected options are agreed.

The route, overnight stays and services are agreed with you. Hotels, guides, tickets and meals are included only when specified in the proposal.
